How to Reconcile Happiness and Pandemic Fatigue
*** Let’s Go for Happiness! ***
For the last 5 weeks we’ve explored How to Reconcile Happiness and Covid-19 Fatigue.
During week 1 we talked about the inner effects, during week 2 we talked about outer causes, for week 3 we focused on relationship impacts, week 4 was about mindset and during week 5 we covered obstacles and how to deal with them.
This week I am aiming to get you inspired to go after your happiness already! Isn’t it about time?
Grab your notebook!
I hope you still have that notebook.
Today I urge you to pull it out and start writing about where you are at today, regarding Your Happiness and Pandemic Fatigue.
And stay tuned, next week we will start exploring a different topic!
How are you feeling in these weird times?
The first step in getting inspired is to know where we are starting from so I would like to start by asking you how you are feeling right now.
Maybe your life is great and has gotten even better in the pandemic…
…but I’ll say it’s more likely that the pandemic, the news about the environment, the political tensions in parts of the world had some sort of effect on you. If your life has gotten better, don’t be afraid to say so!
As for me, I noticed recently when I was in Paris, that my alertness was not what it used to be. I attributed that to spending so much more time at home.
Write down in your notebook how you feel that COVID-19 fatigue has impacted your life over the long run.
Let’s go for Happiness! Have you been languishing?
Regarding Happiness and Pandemic Fatigue, I know I have found myself in a weird space of feeling content with where I am in my life but strangely finding that I have no particular hopes and dreams at the moment.
That is a nice place to be of course but it got me a bit curious. Human beings have a way of always striving for more of something and I should be no exception. That’s when I came across a NYTimes article titled “There’s a Name for the Blah You’re Feeling: It’s Called Languishing”
Are your motivation and focus dulled? And what are we going to do about that?
I have three suggestions for you:
– start by getting your body moving today for 10 minutes
– Check out your diet and see if it may need cleaning up
– Inventory your regular social contacts
I work with my clients on all of those things and many more in the Experience Your TRUE Happiness Haven.
